I

62 Park Place is the main Catholic Chaplaincy at Cardiff University. You can contact us by phone or email; if using the phone, please leave a voicemail as Fr Nicholas’ pastoral responsibilities mean that he is often not able to be at his desk. While we are waiting to have new phone systems put in, email is the most effective way of contacting us at the moment.

Please do not contact the University Chaplaincy for hospital end of life care; Hospitals in Cardiff are managed by a separate chaplaincy which operates a specific protocol for dealing with emergencies. If you have an emergency end of life situation, you should contact the Hospital switchboard directly on 02920 747 747 and ask for the on-duty Catholic chaplain. If the patient is a member of University staff or a student, then please do inform us after the switchboard has been notified.

Catholic Chaplain

Fr Nicholas has general oversight of both the Catholic Chaplaincy at 62 Park Place and Newman Hall; any rental enquiries for the latter should be addressed here.

Tel: 029 2022 8738 (Please leave a voicemail, as Fr Nicholas’ duties means he is seldom at his desk until the new Chaplaincy office is set up)

email: nicholas.williams@rcadc.org

Bursar

Our bursar is only in the office every other Monday and handles invoices and other financial matters. Any urgent matters should be addressed immediately to the Chaplain, Fr Nicholas.
